School Holiday Programme

The three-day 101 Programme provides young people with essential life and financial skills that are not currently taught in-depth in secondary schools, giving teenagers the best chance of succeeding in life!

While there is plenty of good stuff taught in secondary school, there’s also plenty of real world, practical information missing. Leaving secondary school is a critical time in every young person’s life and the decisions they make now and the habits they create now will shape their lives forever.

New to the Life101 course is a two hour session on Saturday morning. This session is for students and their parents, and has been included in the course to ensure parents are able to continue the new education with their children once the Life101 course is complete.

If a student is being disruptive during the hours of the course, and he/she continues to be disruptive after being talked to by the tutor, the student could be removed from the course. If this were to happen the parent will first be contacted (via the details provided under ‘Emergency Contact’) to discuss what has happened and if the parent has any recommendations for their child. Sponsor a Spot

If you like the idea of what we’re trying to achieve with Life101 then there is the opportunity for you to ‘Sponsor a Spot’ on a Life101 course. We work closely with at-risk groups in the local community and have a large number of teenagers who’d hugely benefit from the Life101 course but they don’t have the means to pay for it.

For more information on how to sponsor an individual, or group of individuals, on to a Life101 course please Click Here or email us on info@life101.co.nz.
